Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site.

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive.

  • Necessary cookies. These are cookies that are required for the operation of our website. They include, for example, cookies that enable core functionality, enable security or the ability to make use of e-billing services.  These cannot be disabled.

  • Statistics & Performance cookies. These allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our website when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.

  • Preferences cookies. These are used to recognise you when you return to our website. This enables us to personalise our content for you, greet you by name and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).

  • Marketing cookies. These cookies record your visit to our website, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed. This information may be used to make our website and the advertising displayed on it more relevant to your interests. 



  • Some cookies are placed by third party services used on our website.  These will normally be optional (e.g. preferences).

  • If your browser settings block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our website.

  • We obtain ‘Bundled Consent’ for our sub-sites and related sites which means your decision on which groups of cookies to allow or disallow, will be respected across all these sites (see figure 4).  These sites are;






You can find more information about the individual cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them in the Consent Management Tool (CMT) on our website.  This will have popped on your first use of our website, and an example of this can be seen below.

Clicking on Cookie Details will enable you to see what cookies fall within each category to help inform your decision.  You can also enable or disable cookies by group from within this view.

In each section you can drill down using the arrows to see subgroups of cookies, right down to the individual cookies (what they are called, what they do, how long they last, and what type they are).

Scrolling to the bottom of the Details view shows the cross-domain consent.

Clicking on About will provide some high level guidance about cookies, and importantly inform you that consent can be withdrawn.

Clicking on Consent will show you the summary view, and provide the options to Deny All, Allow Selection, or Allow All.  Clicking on the ‘x’ will perform the same action as clicking Deny All.

Once you have made a choice and the CMT disappears you can access it again at any time to see a summary of your consent status, and also to change this, by clicking on this icon that will be visible on all pages of the website in the bottom left hand corner.

Clicking this will show the following dialog.

Clicking Hide details will show your consent ID and the date/time consent was given.  This can be used when raising a support ticket with us if needed.  A support ticket can be raised by clicking here.

Clicking on Change your consent will take you back to the CMT previously shown.


Consent will be sought proactively every 12 months when you revisit our website.
