Responsibilities
As the Content Manager you will play a key role in the team, working alongside technical, product, and marketing teams to ensure there is a steady stream of fresh quality content on the platform. As Content Manager you will;

Maintain the pipeline of content in line with business needs.

Ensure deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept up to date.

Manage all the related tasks in Jira, engaging with the wider team as needed.

Ingest and test content as required.

Be responsible for QA and final sign off of new content.

Drive aligned ideation for new challenges and tournaments.

Investigate and drive the resolution of content bugs.

Manage the live deployments of content.

Process new contracts and update aligned systems.

Take ownership for anything related to platform content.
Essential Skills & Experience

Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and in record keeping.

A strong multi-tasker - versatile in organising and managing both short and long term projects.

Experience working with Content Management Systems.

Experience using JIRA or similar kanban software for ticket tracking.

Good knowledge of classic games and publishers from the 80's, 90's, and 00's

A quick learner and competent in picking up new tools outside their area of expertise including creative software like photoshop.

Experience using the Google suite for creating and maintaining documentation, especially Google Sheets.

Strong work ethic, willing to go the extra mile to finish objectives on time.

Willing to “get their hands dirty” and do the grunt work when necessary.

Good experience using the emulation software like MAME or RetroArch

A very good standard of written English is required for writing documentations and public facing material.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Background in QA or development - a keen eye for noticing anomalies.

An interest in game design for creating our unique challenges.

Exposure or an understanding of basic programming.

Good investigation skills for digging up information and problem solving.

Strong project management skills.
